Joanne Denise Higdon

February 23, 1943 — April 3, 2023

Joanne Denise Higdon popularly known as "MooMoo" is the daughter of the late Lula Mae Hailey and Joseph Hailey was born February 23rd, 1943 in Elberton Georgia.

At an early age Joanne and the Hailey family moved to Cleveland Ohio where she attended Rawlings high school. Shortly after she found Christ and gave her life to the Lord. Later on in life she met William Harvey Higdon III (deceased) and got married on July 31st 1961 and they were blessed with four beautiful children.

Joanne had a passion for cooking like no other. She was a short order cook at cafe burgundy. Her specialty was making cakes pies and cookies. Her most famous is Red Velvet cake and Monster cookies. Joanne loved basketball her favorite team was the Cleveland Cavaliers. Her favorite hobbies were writing golden nuggets, and playing board games. Her favorites was Taboo and Uno. She loved having family time and playing card games. Joanne loved to spread the gospel and getting people to understand the Bible. Her favorite color was purple which represents royalty. She was a passionate giver and loved to help people and NEVER expected anything in return because she know she was blessed to freely give. "Give and it shall be given unto you" was a bible quote she use to always say.

Joanne leaves behind her sister Jessie Booker and brother James Hailey. Joanne also leaves behind four children Delvegee (Connie) William, Kimberly, and Dominique. (Sun) and daughter from another mother Marsha. Joanne also leaves behinds her grandkids Canieca, Kimberly, Deltora, Shawn, Kishawna, Delleesa, Dorian, Kelly (deceased) Little William and Shawntee. She also leaves behind a host of great grandkids (18) and great, great grandkids (3) along with a host of nieces and nephews and many other loved ones and friends.
