Joann Gray Ogletree

JOANN OGLETREE, 66; Passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. JoAnn Gray was born February 20, 1948 to the late Barbara Harris Gray and John Gray in Cleveland, Ohio. JoAnn attended Cleveland Public Schools and Cleveland Community College. JoAnn accepted Christ and was baptized at Morning Star Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Dr. Earl Preston and served faithfully until she was called home. Her Church activities involved serving on the Welcome Committee and a volunteer for the Food Program. JoAnn's community involvement included her devotion to seniors. She cared for her parents, extended family and friends, being always willing to lend a helping hand as a caregiver. JoAnn was an employee of the U.S. Department of Treasury, Internal Revenue Service for thirty-seven years until her retirement in the year 2004. JoAnn leaves to cherish her memory: Her son, Darryl Billingsley (Tomeka); Three granddaughters, Ra'Naa, Tajah and Misha Billingsley; Two brothers, John Gray, Jr. (ViLou) of Seattle, Washington and Paul Gray (JoAnn) of Maple Heights, Ohio; One sister, Michele B. Gray of Cleveland, Ohio; Two special friends, Bernice Hopkins (Chicago, Illinois) and Rose Davis (Los Angeles, California), a sister/cousin and friend, Beatrice V. Ramsay and a host of other relatives and friends. Services SATURDAY, MAY 24; WAKE 10:00 AM, FUNERAL 10:30 AM at Watson's Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Avenue. Interment in Cleveland Memorial Gardens.
