Jimmy Lee Ryce, Jr. the son of Catherine McCollum and Jimmy Rice Sr (deceased) was born on April 3, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio. Jenny attended Hodge Elementary, Addison, Empire Junior High, and East High School.
Jimmy and Kimberly Hereford were married on July 13, 1992. Jimmy and Kim shared two children together, James Michael Hereford and Jassimine Smith.
Jimmy was a Chef by nature, and was employed at the Greenhouse Baricelli Inn, The Country Club, and The Yacht Club before he decided to hang up his Chef's hat and work at his father's business, Sunoco Gas Station. Jimmy enjoyed shooting pool and playing rounds just for fun. He also enjoyed old school music, and movies. Jimmy was truly a gentle soul with a heart of gold.
Jimmy was preceded in death in 2019 by his wife, Kimberly. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Catherine McCollum; four brothers, Frederick McCollum, Raymond McCollum, Odell Morgan, and DeAngelo Ryce; four sisters, Regina Rice (deceased), Wanda McCollum, Cheryl White, and Portia Rice; one son, James Michael Hueford; one daughter, Jassimine Lynn Smith; two aunts, Virginia Scroggins, and Elloise Bell; two good friends, Archie James and Mark Abbott; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
