JIMMIE LEE OUTLAW JR, 62; SERVICES SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2011, WAKE: 12:30 PM. SERVICE: 1:00 PM. at WATSON'S FUNERAL HOME, 10913 Superior Avenue. Brother Jimmie Lee Outlaw Jr. was born in Starksville, Mississippi on February 28, 1949 to the union of Jimmie Lee Outlaw Sr. and Annie Mary Outlaw. Both parents; 1 son (Timothy); 3 brothers and 1 sister preceded him in death. Jimmie attended Hunt High School in Columbus, Mississippi after relocating there in 1960. Jimmie had a love for golfing, basketball and serving the Lord. Jimmie was employed by DNT Railroad Company as well as various companies throughout the city. He was last employed at White Haven Cemetery where he was supervisor for 7 years. Jimmie was baptized at New Bethal Missionary Baptist Church under pastoralship of Pastor Thomas Shearer. Jimmie was a active member at Jubilee Missionary Baptist Church under pastoralship of Pastor Ronald Owens. Brother Outlaw was President of the Usher Board where he served both cheerfully and regularly. Brother Outlaw attended bible study; Sunday School; and also sang in the Men's Chorus at well. Brother Outlaw assisted and participated where ever he was needed. He served the ministry wholeheartedly and faithfully until his home going. On November 28, 2011 God called home a working soldier of the cross to rest. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Theresa Outlaw (nee Price); daughter, Bonnie Outlaw; son, William Thomas; two step children, Carmella and Carlos Jr; three grandchildren, Timothy Jr., Linnaija and Kiara; two sisters, Barbara Acree (Theodore) and Diana Jones (K.C.); two brothers, Richard Outlaw (Brenda) and Tommy Outlaw (Mary); nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends, all whom he loved and cherished dearly.
