Jeffrey Devone Cowlin

Jeffrey Devone Cowlin was born September 20, 1988 in Cleveland, Ohio at Mount Sinai Hospital to Mary Genise Cowlin. He was raised by his grandmother Mary Joyce Cowlin. She loved him dearly, they were practically best friends. He was the oldest of four children. Although Jeffrey was raised with (Sister) Candice, he maintained a close relationship with his other two siblings (Brother) Juwan, and (Sister) Y'Teria who live in Alabama.

Jeffrey graduated from Collinwood High School in 2007. He was very smart his favorite subject was math. He loved to joke and be silly, was so outgoing and full of love. Jeffrey had a passion for music and he loved to dance. Jeffrey was known as the guy that kept the kids laughing and playing all day. Jeffrey became a father shortly after high school. He loved his kids. Being a father meant everything to him. He was surely a proud dad! Jeffrey grew a unconditional love for sports and video games. He would literally carry his game system everywhere he went. He was a huge fan of sports, but his love was for Cleveland teams, he thought he was the Cleveland Browns coach. Sports has always been his first language. He would go to most of the surrounding recreation centers and churches to play basketball.

In January of 2021 Jeffrey moved to Alabama with his girlfriend of five years Kayla. While being there they got married on February, 14 2021. They have a two-year old (Jeyden) and one on the way. He's always been big on family so having his own family truly brought him joy. A few months later they decided to move back to Cleveland, unfortunately on August 13, 2021 Jeffrey was called home.

Jeffrey leaves to mourn his (Wife) Kayla Cowlin, (Mother) Mary Genise Cowlin, (Grandmother) Mary Joyce Cowlin, (Sister) Candice Cowlin, (Sister) Y'Teria Cowlin, (Brother) Juwan Grayson. His children Jeffrey Cowlin Jr, Jayshawn Cowlin, Jaymeka Cowlin, Kasey Cowlin, Kamiyah Cowlin, Elijah Cowlin, Jeyden Cowlin, and one on the way. A host of aunt's, uncle's, cousins and friends. Jeffrey will truly be missed.
