Jeanette Princess Harris

Our dear mother Jeanette Princess Harris, sadly left us on Monday, October 24, 2022 at the age of 66. She was a devoted Christian and a pure joy to everyone she came in contact with.

Growing up on the east side of Cleveland and raised by her grandparents, Jeanette was an only child but had several cousins to play with. She graduated from Collinwood High School in 1973. The following year she started her family and had her first child. Jeanette had a total of 2 marriages and 3 children.

Over the years she held several office professional jobs that included employers such as Mount Sinai Hospital, The Child Guidance Center, The Plain Dealer, KeyBank and World Harvest Church. She truly enjoyed working in an office setting and was the fastest typer in every office she worked. Jeanette always stayed connected to a church and had several church homes that she and her family joined. She fostered long lasting relationships from each location. Notable church homes for she and her family were Faith Fellowship, The Body of Christ Jesus Church and Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

Jeanette had a beautiful voice and loved to share her gift. She was always sure to join a choir or praise team at church. She also loved to bowl when she was younger and took part in bowling leagues as well as softball leagues. As she got older, she found another way to get some physical activity and that was with line dancing. She absolutely loved to line dance and you were sure to find her on the dance floor when one of the songs came on that she knew the routine to. She then moved on to crochet. She taught herself how to crochet and made several beautiful blankets, hats and scarves.

Mom had been through a lot in life, but you wouldn't know it by looking at her. She always wore a smile and did her best to choose happiness. She will be terribly missed. Jeanette is survived by all 3 of her children, Micheal Partee, Sr; Keneitha Cordle (Jennings); and Janee' Harris. She had 17 grand children (14 courtesy of Micheal) and 3 great grandchildren.
