James Daniel Tutt was born December 25, 1960 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frank Tutt Sr. and Lorraine Tutt. What a Christmas gift! He was the baby to nine siblings making him the tenth.
James grew up on Gooding Ave. in Cleveland, Ohio and was in the first kindergarten class of Stephen E. Howe Elementary School when they opened up the new school in September 1965. He also attended Franklin Delano Roosevelt Junior High School (FDR) and was the last graduating class from the old FDR that was on Parkwood. He then went on to Glenville Senior High School and graduated in the year 1978.
Jamal, as some called him, was a spiritual person and also loved playing sports, where he was a natural in Track and Field, Football, Basketball and his greatest love Baseball, from the time he was four years of age. The Tutt family had a basketball hoop in their backyard where we all played every day. In fact, the hoop remains there grown into a tree. Those were the good ole days! LOL.
James was self-employed performing landscaping, tree removal and home improvement. He was a hard worker until the very end. He left this world happy with family and friends, and was especially happy when the Browns beat the Steelers! Go Browns!
James was taken very good care of when he became ill by his sister Helena from beginning of his ailment until the end (October 2, 2022). Thank you my sister!
James was proceeded in death by his parents Frank Sr. and Lorraine Tutt, his sister Roselee Ward, and his brothers, Frank Tutt Jr. and Harold Jennings.
Family left to Cherish His Memory are his Daughter Jamie Danielle Tutt, son Terrell Robinson and five grandchildren (Michael 18, Makel 17, Jamel 13, Kaila 22 and Terrell Jr. 10; Four Sisters; Equella Hart from Tennesee, Helena Smith, Leana Small and Susan Tutt, all from Cleveland, Ohio. Two Brothers John (Barbara) Tutt and Larry (Diane) Tutt, both from Cleveland, Ohio, and just too many nieces and nephews to count, and a host of friends beyond measure.
James is smiling now. No more pain. You made your peace and accepted GOD. Ain't GOD good?! Love you Baby Brother and tell the family Much Love!
GOD Bless you all!
