Dec 13th at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 Superior Ave. Cle 44106 James Roland Gilmore, Jr. always did things his way. In his usual calm manner, he peacefully joined our heavenly Father on December 8, 2018. He was the third child of Priscilla (Williams) and James Roland Gilmore, Sr. born on August 24, 1952 in Cleveland, Ohio. James graduated from East High School in 1970. He worked for U.S. Steel , Mezi Lumber, and Sam's Beverage Store. James married Karen Robinson in 1973 in Cleveland, Ohio. They had two children, Tiffany and Roland. He married Erma Price July 9, 1984 in Cleveland, Ohio. They had James (JT) and bonus children DeAngela and Shamar. Ronnie, as he was known to family and close friends, was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan. You could find him dressed in his team attire watching games on any given Sunday. He was affectionately known as "Popcorn", to his grandchildren, Ron to his close friends, "The Godfather" to his Texas buddies, and even sometimes called Ron Pinton. Ronnie was a lover of music and would break out in a song at any time. He will be remembered as a smooth dancer, a man of few but very important words, honest almost to a fault, and loving unconditionally. He was always able to be the center of attention while giving others in the room his attention. Those left to cherish his memory are by his children James Thomas Price, Tiffany Foster (Dirk), Roland Robinson, and DeAngela Price, sister, Gladys Hardaway (James), Gregory Gilmore (Mary), Gerald Gilmore (Anita),many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
