Herman Lee Holmes, Jr.

Herman Holmes Jr. was born on May 18, 1963, at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital to his loving parents, Herman and Jessie Holmes. He was the eldest of two children, with his younger sister, Jodi.

Herman attended East Cleveland schools, including Chambers Elementary, Kirk Middle School, and Shaw High School. He also cherished attending church with his grandmother and close friend, Janice Traylor.

As an adult, Herman worked at Orlando Bakery. He enjoyed sharing meals with friends, watching good movies, and savoring peach cobbler.

Herman Holmes Jr. passed away on December 23, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Holmes Sr., and his beloved grandmother, Sanbrandlor Taylor, who always made sure he had his favorite dishes.

Herman Holmes Jr. is survived by his loving family: his mother, Jessie Holmes; his sister, Jodi Holmes Dickson (Mike); his children, Katrina Holmes and twins Brandon and Brianna Walker; and his cherished grandchildren, DeAngelo and Diagria. He also leaves behind his aunts, Helen Jones and Delores Rutledge, along with a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews who will forever remember him with love.
