Gladys Mae Ellington

Gladys Mae Ellington was born on November 10, 1944, to J.D. and Mary Pruitt in Troy, Alabama. Gladys met and married Robert Ellington, Jr. in 1963. Gladys and Robert had three children, Kristi Johnson (deceased), Anthony Ellington (Michelle) and LaRice Ellington. They moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1967 where Gladys worked for Phoenix Dye Works for years. Gladys was the type of person that always made you laugh. Gladys loved to cook and go to the casino. Gladys departed this life on May 23, 2018, in her sleep. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Robert Ellington, Jr.; two children, Anthony Ellington (Michelle) and LaRice Ellington; one sister, Ruby Lee Green; grandchildren; great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law and many dear and treasured friends.
