George James Vaughn

GEORGE JAMES VAUGHN, the Loving father of Wendell (Cornelia) Jordan, the beloved brother of Carlton (Martha) Palmore and Vanessa Buffington, and dear fiancé of Sheila Smith, was born May 3, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio to Rosetta Buffington and James Vaughn. He was educated in the Cleveland Public School System. George was employed at Brass Tack Shoes. George was known as the "Glass Man" because he could shine your shoes till they sparkled like glass. He was the best shoe shiner around and shined shoes for many distinguished people. George liked dancing, the Ohio Lottery, having a good time and collecting hats, which he loved to wear. George departed this world on September 18, 2012. He was preceded in death by his mother Rosetta Buffington; and father, James Vaughn. George is remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a special friend of many years, "Joe". Services are on MONDAY, SEPT. 24; WAKE 12:30 PM , FUNERAL 1:00 PM at Watson's Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Ave.
