Frederick Marcus "Marc" Green was born in Cleveland, OH at St. Anne's Hospital on January 25, 1973. He graduated from Jane Addams Careers Center in 1991. He worked as a Security Officer for many years for different businesses including Rite-Aid, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Public Library. Marc was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Pittsburgh, PA on July 1, 1989, and he enjoyed sharing in the Christian ministry as often as he could. He married Alisa M. Logan on July 1, 2005, and from that union had two children: Logan Fritz-Marcus Green and Marco Dru-Hardy Green. Marc loved to sketch, write poetry and song lyrics. Lisa said he "thought" he was a poet. He posted many of those rhymes online. He was a true sportsman; basketball and football were two of his favorites. He enjoyed riding his bike with his wife around University Circle and often rode his bike to work at the Library. He enjoyed watching movies and being with his boys. He was most happy when the four of them were all together. On Thursday, March 28, Marc greeted his wife who just arrived home from a hospital stay. He exclaimed how much he missed her but had enjoyed not being subjected to detective shows in her absence. They laughed and joked around. Marc then sat in his favorite chair and took a nap from which he did not awaken. He was 46 years old. Marc was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Frederick D. and Anna (Cross) Green and maternal grandparents, Eugene and Arline Hardy, and an uncle, Eugene Hardy. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Alisa (Logan) and sons Logan (11) and Marco (8); his parents Frederick B. and Ethel (Hardy) Green; sisters, Pamela Hardy and Krystal Green and brother, Philip Green and one sister-in-law, Tiffany R. Logan. He also leaves to mourn two uncles; Gerald (Andrea) Green, and Michael (Williemae) Hardy; three aunts: Arlene (Milliner) Hardy, Antoinette Drake and Roberta Barnes; nephews: Christian and Jacob Green, Matthew Earby, Marlin (Jacqueline) Williams, Ryan N. Williams and Jordan B. Kelly; nieces, Marshae' Thompson, Gabrielle Allen, Chanel-Danyea Kelly, and one great-niece, Wynter Carlisle. We would be remised if we didn't make special mention of his dear cousins: Nicholas Dill, Sunceria Hardy, Debbie Dill, and Linda Dill. These cousins were more like brothers and sisters to him. He also leaves to mourn a host of relatives and friends including his best friend, Bryan Strickland.
