Frankie M. Harris, 71; passed away Sat. Sept. 16th; Memorial Services begin 3 PM Saturday, September 23rd at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 Superior Ave. Cleveland, OH 44106 Frankie Harris was born to the union of Jesse James Harris and Ida Jones Harris in Prattville, Alabama, December 29, 1945. They preceded her in death. At a very young age, she was relocated to Cleveland with her parent's blessings to continue her education where she was adopted by Pearl Jenkins who also preceded her in death. She acknowledged Christ at an early age and was a member of Green Grove Baptist Church. Frankie met and married Oscar Harris who preceded her in death. Frankie was a graduate of the Cleveland Public School System where she developed her skills in food preparation. She was an employee of University Hospitals as a Dietary Aide for 10+ years until she left for a position with Mt. Sinai Hospital as a Dietary Aide for 20+ years until she made a career change and accepted a position as a Central Supply Technician until she retired. But that would not last long as a favor to a friend she also worked at McGregor Nursing Home in the Hair Salon part-time and as a home health aide. Following her retirement, she focused on spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Her hobbies include Bingo, Casinos, Music, Cooking, and Fishing. On September 16, 2017, Frankie went from labor to reward at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby, OH. She leaves to mourn her children Cassandra, Dwight (Marcia), Sonya (Jeffrey), and god-daughter Lashanda; one sister, Charity A. Hall I.; two aunts, Mable Thompson of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Edith Stoudmire, Cleveland, OH.; grandchildren, Reginald, Robert, LaShawna Ivory (Ian), Ronald Mitchell and Carolyn and Ashley Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Shamari, Michael, Sammy, Lanna, Shiann, Sean, Tayshawn, Laila and D'shawn; her family from Milwaukee, Wl (Matilda, Dorothy, Laura, Dana, Tanya, Yvette, Antonio, and Paul, just to name a few); Robert Hall Sr., Robert Hall Jr., and Marzell Hall, Octavius and Charity Hall II Cleveland, OH; Brenda and Josiah Davis of North Carolina; as well as a host of family and friends.
