Fannie Juanita Pickett Holt was born February 12, 1938, in Birmingham Alabama to Dovie Dumas, and James Governor Pickett. Fannie had seven brothers, and six sisters.
Fannie married Julius Alvin Holt on March 17, 1956, and they moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1962. Juanita and Julius had five children, Dane Kenneth Holt, Wanda J. Flynn-Mitchell, Julian Van Holt, Edwin Glenn Holt, and Sonji Ann Holt.
Fannie remained by Julius' side until his death in 1988. Fannie was a stay at home wife, and mother. She enjoyed entertaining at home and weekly shopping with her daughter, Wanda. Fannie loved music and loved dancing, entertaining her children.
Fannie was preceded in death by her mother, Dovie Pickett; father, James Governor Pickett; and all 13 of her siblings.
Family left to cherish Fannie's memory are her five children, Dane, Wanda, Julian, Edwin, and Sonji; a large number of grandchildren, and great grandchildren; as well as friends, nieces, and nephews.
