Eva Ann (Howard) Cox-Goings

Eva Ann Cox Goings was born in Chattanooga Tennessee on August 28,1935 to Hubert and Hilda Howard Paige. Eva was an only children.

Eva was raised in Cleveland Ohio where she was educated in the Cleveland Public School System. Eva attended St. John Cathedral and Triestone Baptist Church until her health prevented her from attending. Eva had a daughter before marrying Charles Cyrue Cox Sr. Eva and Charles had 8 children. Eva's second marriage was to Glenard Goings.

Eva worked for Cleveland Board of Education (secretary), Howard Johnson Hotel (cook) and St Paul Infant and Maternity Home (baby nurse). Eva opened her home and heart to everyone. Eva always had a toddler or infant in her arms or close by. Eva was the light of so many lives and will be truly missed by many. Eva departed this life on July 21,2023.

Eva was proceeded in death by Hurbert Howard, Hilda Howard Paige, Charles Cyrue Cox Sr., Glenard Goings, Eva Vina Gibbs and Charles Cyrue Jr.

Eva leaves to cherish her memories Hilda Howard, Lamont Cox, Mavis Glass, Monalisa Irons, Elizabeth Hester Miller (Curtis), Kelly Harris, Endy Ingram, 25 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
