Ethel Mae Hubrins was born in Robinsonville, Mississippi, on December 10, 1947. She was one of eight children born to Albert and Mary Lane. Ethel attended Rosa Fort Jr. High and High School. Ethel attended Rosa Fort Jr. High and High School. In 1967, she moved to Cleveland, Ohio, and later retired as a licensed practical nurse. Ethel accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and rededicated her life to Him in 1982.
Ethel enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She was instrumental in taking up the mantle to ensure that the family gathered annually after the death of her mother. Ethel always had an open door for her family, and she loved cooking, socializing, listening to music, and caring for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She left this earth on September 8, 2024, doing what she did best-helping and supporting others.
Ethel was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Lane; her daughter, Annette; her son, Steven; two sisters, Mattie and Connie; and two brothers, George and Tommie.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Mitchell Stewart (Rose), and daughter, Tara Hubrins-Lett (Michael); seven grandchildren: Erica Irving (Billy), David Hubrins, Tashiana Hubrins, Erin Stewart, Zabryna Bertrand, Essence Hubrins, and Cameron Pugh; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.a licensed practical nurse. Ethel accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and rededicated her life to Him in 1982.
