Ernita Louise Wilson-Smiley

SERVICE SATURDAY, JUNE 20th; WAKE AT 12:30PM and MEMORIAL SERVICE AT 1:00 PM at Watson's Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Ave. Ernita Louise Wilson Smiley was the first child born to Barbara Evans and Ernest Wilson on February 11, 1959. She attended and graduated from Jane Adams then attended Kent State University. On September 22, 1989 she married Ervin Smiley and to their union was born two daughters, Ervina and Ernesha. Ernita loved music, cooking, reading, puzzle books, jewelry, home shopping network and being a wife and mother. Ernita was very articulate, opinionated, boisterous and known by sisters as "Nita P" (Pistol). She valued family and friendship, always having a smile, even through her sickness she never complained, she fought a good fight. She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest and her daughter, Ernesha. Ernita is survived by, her daughter, confidant, caregiver and best friend Ervina; husband and friend, Ervin; she leaves to mourn, her mother, Barbara Brooks; three sisters, Trudie (Raymond), Tracie (Brian), Barbara; one brother, Dwayne and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed!!!
