Emma Lou Hoyle

February 22, 1930 — December 24, 2018

One of Thirteen children, Emma Lou was born to Evelyn and Thomas Brooks in Eldridge, Alabama; in Walker County. Moving to Cleveland, Ohio at an early age, Emma was educated and graduated from Central High School In 1949 Emma was united in Holy Matrimony to Arnold Hoyle, who preceded her in death in 2001, from this union seven children were produced. In a variety of settings, Emma worked hard to help care for her family and retired from the Cleveland Board of Education in 1994. Emma loved her family and friends, she always had an open-door policy for those in need, even for her friends at Parkwood Methodist Church. Emma family, friends and acquaintances who spent time with her always spoke of the good times they had with her. SHE REALLY LOVED LIFE. After living through a long illness, Emma suddenly succumbed to her illness on Monday December 24,2018. Emma leaves to mourn her passing CHILDREN, Jacqueline Brooks (Robert), Gregory Hoyle, Marshall Hoyle, Stephanie Vaughn (Gregory), Michael Hoyle, Burel Hoyle, and Edgar Hoyle; GRANDCHILDREN, Robert, Arnold, Michael (Ali), Nikita, Brian, Gregory, Gregory, Yolanda, Jamel, Marshall, Shari, Sarita, Quinton, Christopher, Shyanne, Emmena, Arnold, Edgar, and Amira; 2 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN; 29 GREAT-GREAT GRANDCHILDREN mourn her loss also. Emma also leaves to mourn her passing a host of Nieces and Nephews. A special thanks to Geraldine and Regina. Emma was preceded in death by her mother, EVELYN (BUTLER) and father, THOMAS BROOKS, SHE WAS THE LAST LIVING CHILD OF 13 SIBLINGS.
