Emma C. Hill

May 8, 1935 — March 15, 2020

Sister Emma C. Hill was known and called by many names such as “Mrs. C”, and “Ma C. Hill”. She was a kind and loving person.



Emma was the sixth child of Herbert and Lillie Cunningham, she had her beginning in Mobile, Alabama. At the age of seven she confessed Christ and became a member of the Mt. Olive No. 2 M.B.C., under the late Pastor Rev. J.B. Weaver. She was well-trained in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ.



Ma C. Hill continued her journey in the mission field when she relocated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1958. She joined the 2nd Ebenezer M.B.C. under the late Pastors, Rev.T. Brown and Rev. R.E. Webster. She loved her church family and served in many positions, Out Reach Ministry, Foreign Mission, for 45 years in the Progressive District. She traveled for years to the local, state, and, national conventions. She served in her community at the Election Polls. She was employed at the Cleveland Board of Education as an Educational Aid. She served two terms as PTA President. She had a brief career in Mary Kay Cosmetics for 22 years.



Emma is the mother of 11 children. She was preceded in death by three of her children and two spouses; She is survived by many more grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren other family and many dear friends.
