Elsie Anthony

Elsie Mae Anthony was born on December 12, 1957, to the late Margaret Mahone of Tuskegee, Alabama. She accepted Christ at an early age. Elsie attended and graduated from South Macon High School in Tuskegee. She worked as a STNA with Magnolia Nursing Home and the Veterans Hospital in Tuskeegee Alabama for many years until she took ill, doing what she did best, "taking care of others". Elsie also loved talking on the phone and going to the casino.

Elsie transitioned on January 9, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Mary Jackson, Julia Crawford, Annie Ruth Forte, & Minnie Forte.

Elsie leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter Falicia Hill (DeShon Hill); two sons, Keith Mahone & James Cloud Jr.; four brothers, James Mahone, Henry Mahone (Patricia), Charles Mahone, & Archie Mahone; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members who loved her dearly and many friends.
