Eloise Adams

October 14, 1931 — June 10, 2020

Eloise Adams was born on October 14, 1931, in Catherine, Alabama. She was born to the late Will and Daisy Mauldin. Eloise was the oldest girl of twelve children. She moved to Cleveland at an early age with her parents. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Andre Adams; five brothers: Collin, Calvin, Kasric, Willie and Roosevelt; three sisters: Annie, Maple, and Naomi.



Eloise accepted Jehovah God as her creator and held steadfast to her faith. She attended Cleveland Public Schools and worked for the school district for a short period of time. Shortly after leaving the school system, she entered the field of housekeeping. She retired after forty years. She was an extremely hard-working woman and took great pride in her work. She loved sewing, cooking and art. In her retirement, Eloise enjoyed watching soap operas and the horse races. She also enjoyed cooking, especially for her family.



Eloise leaves to cherish her memory: Son: David C. Foster; Daughter: Doranna Y. Fisher; Goddaughter: Beverly Bright-Lloyd (Owen); Grandsons: John D. Foster, Cameron Foster, Andre Adams, and Justin Fisher. Granddaughters: Jasmine Fisher, Shuandrea Adams, Ebony Adams, Mia Foster and Ronisha Cotton; Sisters: Mattie Mauldin and Emma Jean Frierson; Brother: Randolph Mauldin. A host of nephews, nieces, great grandchildren, cousins, extended family members and friends.
