Ellis Peek

Ellis Peek Jr. was born on January 5, 1961, to Betty and Ellis Peek, in Cleveland, Ohio. Ellis was like most children, adventurous, mischievous, and very outspoken. Ellis accepted Christ at a very early age, he attended Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, where he sang in the Male Choir.

Ellis "The Dancing Bear" graduated from John Hay High School in 1978. After graduation, he had several occupations, which made him a Jack of All Trades.

On September 24th at 10:50 PM, God called his child home to be reunited with his Mom and Dad, Betty and Ellis Sr.; brother, Tony; sisters, Darlene and Diane; nephews, Bobby and Brandon; cousin, Travis; aunts and uncles.

Ellis' legacy will continue through his three children, Nakia, Shana, and Ellis III; 13 grandchildren, Da'Shon, Dae'Von, Brionna, MyKia, Richard, Drancir, Madycin, Darrell, Brielle, Dayvion, Sophia, Aliyah, and Ziya; one great grandchild, Vysion; four stepchildren, Celestine, Leslie, Elliott, and April. One best friend, Scott Halloway; his favorite niece, LaTonya; his favorite nephew, Darnell; two sisters, Arlene (Joe Lattimore), and Renetta; one brother, Andy; one aunt, Letta (Thomas); two uncles, Allen, and Jake (Callie); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ellis loved his family dearly, and he would do anything for anyone. Ellis enjoyed his life to the fullest, he will be truly missed.
