Elijah W Hector Jr. 69 years of age passed away in Saturday September 5, 2020 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital due to complications from pneumonia.
Elijah was born January 21, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Elijah W Hector and Juliette Barnes. He was the oldest of ten children. Two preceded him in death. Elijah went to Thomas Edison School and later received his GED.
Elijah is survived by his children Elijah E Clements (Natasha), Evelyn Lewis (Vereese), David Clements, Marcel Godfrey, Denise Anderson, Jawauna Anderson. His siblings Patricia Davis ( Alvin), Daisy Harris, Leonard Pratt, Reginald Pratt, Daryl Pratt, Lisa Pratt, and Gregory Pratt. He also had many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his sister Cynthia Hector and brother Levi Pratt.
Elijah also known as Noonie was a proud member of the Army military forces. He loved his music and He loved to dance. He knew all the line dances loved for people to dance with him. If you ask 100 people who Elijah was they would all give you different stories. The one thing that everyone would stay is that He was definitely a character , His favorite saying was “Miss Me With That”. Seriously everyone would say that He was LOVE. Elijah loved to love people, especially his family. No matter what he went through or what state of mind he was in he was always caring, wearing that big smile, and always coming to check on you.
Elijah was a living example of second chances. We all knew he had challenges in his life but at the age of 63 He sought clarity and overcame all those challenges. He rededicated his life to Christ. He stayed Clean and truly lived his best life.
