Edward Martin Iii

Public Viewing will be from 10:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 5th and Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 6th starting at 12:30 P.M. at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 Superior Ave. Cleveland, Ohio 44106. Edward Martin III was born on November 22, 1995 in Cleveland, Ohio to Flora Jones and Edward Martin Jr. At the age of 3 he moved to Demopolis, Alabama and later at the age of 14 returned back to Cleveland, Ohio.  Edward attend John Essex High School (Demopolis, Alabama) Fairview High School (Fairview, Ohio) and Glenville High School (Cleveland, Ohio) At the above schools, Edward was an excellent athlete, the recipient of many awards playing numerous of sports including, Football, Basketball and Track & Field. Edward was employed at Aloft Hotel and later at Penn Station where his excellent workmanship was preparing him for a shift manager position. Following this tragedy Penn Station dedicated him with his own sandwich titled "Ed's Italian"  Edward was preceded in death with his grandparents, Robert L. and Dessie Mae Jones and Sadie Thomas. He leaves to cherish his memories his four sisters, Tanisha Jones (Preston Bell), Tamesha Jones, Matesha Stafford (James Stafford) and Sha'Kema Jones; four brothers, De'Vonn Willis, D'andre Martin, Tim Willis, and My'Shawn Jones. He also leaves behind his grandparents, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Uncle, and Aunts. He was very active and a mentor to his three nephews Trevell, Treveon, and Taylor. And treated his niece Ava like a Princess. His Shared Kindred spirit and closeness with many friends but especially with Miquel Owens and Akira Coleman.
