Edith Mae Stoudmire

July 6, 1933 — May 3, 2022

Born in Prattville, Alabama, Edith was one of a children born to Barry Sr, and Matilda Hall. She confessed Christ at an early age. She graduated high school in Prattville and after graduation she married Robert Hall in 1950.

The couple moved to Cleveland, Ohio and she began working at Forest Manufacturing Co. as a supervisor until her retirement after 45 years. Edith later became a member of Green Grove Baptist Church in the 1960s where she served as president of the usher board for many years. Later, she served on the board of trustees, and was a very faithful member. After her retirement Edith served many people by working with the food bank. She and her husband were pillars of the community by serving and helping others as much as possible. In their marriage, love and devotion, their union brought one son, Robert Jr.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents, Matilda, and Barry Hall; three siblings, Pearl Jenkins, Barry Hall, and Cleve Hall.

Edith leaves to mourn her son, Robert Jr; three grandchildren, Robert III, Marzel Hall, and Tamika Williams; seven great grandchildren; three siblings, Mabel (William) Thompson of Milwakee, Gloria Dean (John L.) Thomas of Prattville, Alabama; and Laura Mae (Glifford) of Prattville, Alabama; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

God Saw that the road was getting rough and he whispered come on home my child.
