On Feb 8,1945 Dorothy Zanders was born to her parents in Cleveland, Ohio and was raised in the Mt. Pleasant area. Dorothy attended Max Hayes and received her G.E.D then went on to Sawyer Business College to receive her certificate in Nursing which enjoyed so very much. Dorothy worked as a nurse at Sunny Acres Home for well over five years then proceeded to work at various Nursing Agencies up until retirement. Dorothy definitely had a way with words that will either have you laughing or in shock of what she said. She was always the life of the party and most definitely the dancer of the family. In 2001 Dorothy married Mitchell Garner on March 7th. Their favorite thing together was to walk the trails behind there buildings, which was a very sacred place she always talked about. Dorothy departed this life on October 9, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents; Granddaughter Kiana Welch and Great Grandson Major Howard. Left to cherish her memories are her sister and brother; Theresa Mills-Gilliam and David Mills. Dorothy has five children daughters; Monte' Anderson, Christine Kelly-Cross, Veronica Kelly-Lewis, and sons; Tyrone Kelly and Javaughn Kelly. And a host of Grandchildren, Great- Grandchildren, Cousins, Aunts, Uncles, Niece's and Nephews. Which she loved and adored deeply. Dorothy will be truly missed, but most certainly never forgotten; as her memory will live in our hearts forevermore.
