Doris W. Horn

Doris Williams Horn, 90, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones. Her sunset was on Thursday, November 23, 2023.

Doris was born in Mobile, Alabama on March 22, 1933. The daughter of John Q. Williams, and Marie Williams, she attended Mobile County Training School in Mobile, Alabama. She met & married Cleve Horn Jr, II. January of 1952 in Prichard, Alabama.

She was a faithful servant of the Lord. She attended Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio under Reverend E.L. Rogers, and Reverend K. Rogers.

Cleve and Doris moved to Cleveland, Ohio for a new beginning and a better way of life. She worked as an Antenna Specialist, and as a Supervisor with Cleveland Trust Bank, and AmeriTrust.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Cleve Horn Jr, II, mother, Marie Williams, father, John Q. Williams, one daughter, Brenda Horn, one son, John Horn, three sisters, Elizabeth Williams, Lillian Howze, and Joyce Williams, six brothers, John Williams, Tommie Lee Williams, Wallace Williams, Willie Williams, Edward Williams, and James Williams.

Doris is survived by her children, Robert Ray Horn (Darlene), Ronnie Horn, Debra Lee McClendon (Rodney), Doris Marie Horn-Davis (Jeffery), Cleve Horn III (Shirley), Fitzgerald Horn, Gregory Horn (Terancita), Angela Horn (Oscar Price), all of Cleveland, Ohio, bonus daughter in-love, Sheri Horn of Hawaii, and Candy Horn of Cleveland, two sisters, Gladys McCoy of Kansas City, Kansas, and Rebecca Williams of Prichard, Alabama, 23 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and a special friend, Mrs. Drummond of Cleveland, Ohio.
