Denoris Fay Slaughter, affectionately known as "Dee-Dee," was born October 5, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Zeaster and Nocks Slaughter. She was the seventh of eight children.

Denoris received her education through the Cleveland Public School System. She was employed for over 30 years as a professional detailer, a profession in which she took great pride.

Her primary hobby was her passion for making cars immaculate and beautiful. She also had a lifelong love for jazz music since childhood.

Denoris departed this live after a long chronic illness on Thursday, March 20, 2025

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zeaster and Norris Slaughter; two brothers, Gerald M. Slaughter and Norris Slaughter Jr; two sisters, Jacquline Elaine Matthews, and Shelia Denise Slaughter; two great-nieces, Destinee Matthews, and Tanisha Michelle Molineris.

Denoris leaves to cherish her memory three siblings, Anthony, Michelle, and Michael Slaughter; a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives; and many cherished friends.
