Denise Darlene Thompson

Denise D. Thompson, beloved mother, sister, and friend was called home on Thursday Jul. 25, 2024, with her two sons and family by her side.

Born in Dayton Ohio on Jan. 6th, 1961, to the late Andrew and Darlene (Vaughn) Thompson, she was the youngest of three children.

She attended Shiloh Baptist Church and was a graduate of Roth high School (1979) where she was a cheerleader. She is the mother of two loving sons Suliaman and Jerear

She moved to Euclid OH in 1985 where she owned and operated Sheer Motion Hair Styling Salon until 2001. She then worked for the Hilton Corporation and later Sodexo until 2021. She was a lover of travel, working in her garden, animals, cooking, sports, and spending time with her sons. She was known for her warm smile, and the kindness with which she treated everyone she met.

She was proceeded in death by her father Andrew N. Thompson and mother Darlene M. Thompson.

Denise is survived by her two sons Suliaman Abder-Rahim and Jerear Abder-Rahim (Ebony) her sisters Angela Craft-Jameson (James) and Ronda Stevens (Jerry) as well her nieces, nephew and many friends.
