Debra Ann Brooks

Debra Ann Battle was born on December 2, 1954, to the late Lula Battle, and Austin Jones, in Cleveland, Ohio. Debra attended, and graduated from John Adams High School.

Debra Ann accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. Debra later went on to marry Anthony Howard, and to their union Anthony Howard, Jr. was born. Debra Ann was in a relationship with Lester Sims, and Terrance Howard was born.

Debra enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She liked dancing, playing cards, and spending time with her grandkids. Debra worked in Environmental Services at Golden Gate Apartments, and at Progressive Offices.

Debra Ann Howard married Joseph Brooks, who preceded her in death. The Lord called Debra home on November 2, 2020, in the comfort of her home. She will be missed by her loving children, Anthony Howard (Lavonia), and Terrance Howard (Arcola); siblings, Johnnie Battle, Carol Battle, Kenneth Battle, Earl Payne, Darlene Allen, Carlton Battle, Waydena Foster, and Wendy Averette (Gregory); grandchildren, Lakisha, Anthony, and Akili; great grandchildren, Zariah, Zayden, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.
