Day'ShaVonne "Daysha" La'Shae Hayes was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 9th, 1998, to Latonya Michelle Ervin and Damien Lamont Hayes.
Daysha was raised in Wickliffe, Ohio, where she attended Wickliffe schools and graduated from Wickliffe High School in 2017. After graduation, Daysha continued working at the local Texas Roadhouse where she was a beloved employee. In 2020, Daysha left Cleveland and relocated to Livonia, Michigan and continued working at Texas Roadhouse. Towards the end of 2023, she began working at Webasto Plant, as a Production Operator, where upon learning the news of her passing they shared with us that although she had only been working there a short time that she had left a lasting impression on her co-workers and that she would be recognized in the company's newsletter.
Daysha was a gentle, sweet spirit who was warm and open to everyone she met. Daysha loved her family and friends and spending time with her dog, Haze "Handsom" Hayes, whom she affectionately called "H3". In her teen years, she loved drawing and dreamed of being an architect. She was the BEST big sister that anyone could ask for. She was kindhearted, generous, and giving to all those whom she loved. She was very caring and considerate and played the role of caretaker to family and friends. She loved and supported her little brothers, Devin and Dayvionn, to whom she was a constant source of support and guidance. She was a great friend always there to offer support or advice, even played matchmaker to her friend, Mirayah, letting her know that her husband was the one. She was a loving and supportive partner to her girlfriend, Chynia. Chynia described their relationship as the sweetest love that she has ever had. Awwww....
Daysha loved online shopping, playing the game, she loved traveling, going out with Chynia and Haze, she loved watching sports, she loved going to work, she loved having her lazy days, she loved drawing, loved building, and putting things together. Daysha was artistic and could draw anything. She loved to cook. She loved having a good time with family and friends. Daysha was a jokester always joking around and making her friends laugh. Martez and Lyndsey shared with us that she was the one of the dearest friends that they ever had, offering them a friendship that withstood time and distance.
She was always fully present and showed up when called. She was truly living her best life at the time of her death. She was happy and secure in her own skin. She was living her truth and fully embracing the beautiful, unique person that GOD created her to be. She was looking forward to the future and had plans to return to school for Architecture Design. She was truly living a beautiful and fulfilled life.
