Dajah Mónae Thaxton

Dajah Mónae Thaxton was born in Cleveland, Ohio, November 16, 1997. To Lateesha Brown Reed and Darryl Thaxton.

Dajah, also known as “D.Rose”, was the first born daughter of Lateesha. She attended Cleveland public Schools, graduating from Collinwood High School in 2016.

God Called his daughter home on April 20, 2024. Dajah was loved by all her family and friends. She was the life of the party! Her laugh would fill the biggest rooms, and everyone loved to be in her presence. Dajah loved spending time with her mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt who was her world. Dajah will be deeply missed and will always hold a tremendous place in our hearts.

Dajah was preceded in death by her grandmother, Carolyn Thaxton; and one uncle, Davon Brown.

Dajah leaves behind her mother, Lateesha Reed (Quinones) and the Reed Family; three sisters, Latasia Jackson, Jada Reed, and Yasani Thaxton; three brothers, Dominic Pirro, Montana, and Marcello Thaxton; five aunts, Linda Brown Swift (Rudy), Tameka Thaxton, Diamond, Mariah, and Ciara Robinson; three uncles, Douglas Brown, Daverrick Lash, and Husani Thaxton; grandparents, Vonita Brown (Shawn), and Douglas Robinson (Dawn); as well as a host of other family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
