Clarence Rodney Shelton, 76; passed away Tue. July 17th; Public Viewing 9 AM to 7 PM Fri. Aug. 3rd & Funeral begins 10 AM Sat. Aug. 4th at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 Superior Ave. Cle 44106 Clarence Rodney Shelton was born August 28, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio to parents Thomas Polk Shelton and Alma Olga Shelton. Clarence had two brothers, Ronald Polk Shelton, and Theodore Westley Shelton. Clarence's medical problems prevented him from living a normal life. He attended Cleveland Public Schools in his early years, but his medical problems prevented him from graduating. Clarence was a lovable, friendly person who was loved by all his family. He always had a nice smile and enjoyed being around his family. Clarence Rodney Shelton died Tuesday, July 17, 2018, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by a sister, Olga Shelton, and brother, Raymond Shelton who both died at birth. Clarence leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Ronald (Brenda), Clarence, and Theodore Shelton; aunt, Bernice Duvall; grandchildren, Julie Travis (Jordan), Alma Bonnie Carter (Michael), Shelly Towns (Chris), Theodore Shelton, Jr. and Anwar Shelton, Anice Deena Duval; nephews, Deluntay Duvall and Dontee Duvall; several great-grandchildren and many friends. Also, he will be cherished by Mrs. Cassandra Dixon, a loving person who was his homecare nurse for many years.
