Christian Bernard Hannan

Christian Bernard Hannan was born on June 27th, 1985, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Carol Hannan and Charles Hatcher. Chris was the only boy in the middle of sisters Tanisha Kirk (oldest) and Christina Hannan (youngest).

Growing up in Euclid, Ohio, and in East Cleveland, Ohio, with his sister Tina, Chris graduated from Shaw High School in 2004. He was an avid baseball player and an amazing swimmer since a young boy. Chris was certified as an electrician after completing a Job Corps program and served some time in the U.S. Army after graduating from Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina, in 2007.

Though Chris was serving time for his challenges, he believed in calling souls to Christ since accepting the Lord in 2006 thanks to his brothers in Christ at Houghton Lake Baptist Church in Houghton Lake, Michigan. He loved to give a word and he would ask about all of his family and friends every time we would speak to him. Chris had an untimely death in prison on March 16th, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Hannan, but leaves his daughters Sophia Hannan and Nevaeh Spencer to cherish his memory along with a host of family and friends.
