Chris Allen Mitchell

CHRIS ALLEN MITCHELL, 55; born July 2, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio to Samuel Brooks Jr. and Margaret Mitchell(deceased). Chris graduated from John Hay High school and attended Central State University. Chris loved football, basketball and listening to music. Chris and Saundra united in holy matrimony August 11, 2003. After a long battle with multiple health issues, Chris was called home on March 3, 2015. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving, devoted wife Saundra Herron-Mitchell; his father, Samuel Brooks Jr.; aunts, Shirley Carey (Relice - deceased), Ione Ringo (Alan - deceased), Paulette Edwards (Tyrone - deceased); brother, Kevin Mitchell (deceased); nephew, Kevin Jr.; four sisters-in-law, Glenda (Jerome), Barbara (Mervin), Angela and Vastoria; one brother-in-law, David; three step children, twenty step grandchildren, 17 step great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. SERVICES ON THURSDAY, MARCH 12th; WAKE 12:30 PM, FUNERAL 1:00 PM at Watson's Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Avenue. Public viewing Wednesday, March 11th from 9;00 AM UNTIL 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment is in Highland Park Cemetery.
