Catherine J. Frison was born May 23, 1927 to the late Robert Frison and Priscilla Jackson Frison in Birmingham, Alabama. She peacefully entered Heaven's gates in her sleep after a long battle with breast cancer at The Greens Care and Rehabilitation Center. Prior to her relocation at the Greens, her residence was at Gateway Nursing Facility. Catherine moved to Cleveland, Ohio as a young adult where she worked for many years at Eaton Manufacturing Company. Catherine possessed many talents. She excepted Christ at an early age at Antioch Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Catherine was license to preach the Gospel at Saint James Free Church of God on October 05, 1985. She had a great love for people. Catherine was fondly referred as, Mother Catherine, by her many friends. She will be missed by those who now celebrate her victory lap to sit beside the creator. Mother Catherine, as she was fondly called, leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted son Otis Penick Junior, adopted children Gary Rodgers and Theresa Jemison. One Grandson Andrico (Catherine) Penick of Califorina, one granddaughter Kimberly Penick. Three great-grandsons Etienne, Noah and Tyler Penick. One loving sister Robbie McCoy of Birmingham, Alabama. Special thanks to Etta Anderson, who was like a daughter. In addition to a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends too numerous to name.
