CAROLYN A. HOLLIS-POWERS, 45; "Kay-Kay" was born to the late Andrew Hollis Jr. and Carlene Fields-Hollis on October 8, 1968 in Cleveland, Ohio. Carolyn grew up in Cleveland, Ohio surrounded by family and friends. She attended Lincoln West High School. Carolyn was a homemaker and very adventurous on life. She was known for her love of family and friends, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Carolyn departed her life on Saturday, September 13, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Hollis Jr.; mother, Carlene Hollis; brothers, Andrew Hollis III, Richard Hollis; sister, Pearl Fields and father in law, Dock Powers. Carolyn leaves to mourn in her passing and cherish her memory, husband, Carl Powers; children, Angela and David Hollis; grandchildren, Dewayne, Exavier and Amyia; one brother, Michael Bashey; uncle, Peter Fields; mother-in-law, Josie Powers; brothers-in-law, Roberto and Eddie Powers; sisters-in-law, Yvonne, Barbara & Gerri Powers; step-grandchildren, Raven, Nia, Joel, Christal, Noah, Luke, Synia nieces, Charde, Candice, Brittany, Debra, Mary, Dominque, Samantha, Nicole, Rika; nephews, Andrew and Lawrence; great nieces, great nephews other family members and friends. SERVICES ARE ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 22; WAKE 12:30 PM, FUNERAL 1:00 PM AT Watson's Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Avenue. Public viewing on Sunday from 11 AM until 4 PM. Interment in Riverside Cemetery, 3607 Pearl Road.
