Carl Jones

Carl Jones was born in Forest Park, Georgia on August 24, 1952. His parents are Charlie and Flovella Jones. He has 2 siblings, Rhonda and Eddie Jones. He's the 2nd born child of 3. Carl had one child, (Carl Doron Jones) with Larita Harvey; two devoted parents who love their child and were good friends. Carl went to Glenville High School. He was a member of the Lee Memorial Church. After High School he enlisted into the Army in 1971. He served in the Vietnam War and was discharged a Honorable Mention in 1973. Carl had various jobs but later spent 20+ years working with the RTA as a commercial driver and then retired around 2013-2014. Carl was one of the greatest men on earth and was loved a lot. He smiled everywhere he went and no matter what was going on he smiled. One of his quotes was, "Wear a smile to give yourself a perfect glow. Spiritual Beauty."​ Loved talking about his mother and sister. He was very proud of his son for accomplishing things and becoming a great man. Carl loved going fishing with his son and laughing at funny videos. Carl was very spiritual and loved talking about God. Carl was called home to be with the Lord on February 4th, 2018. To cherish his memories is his son, Carl D. Jones; niece, Angela; the mother of his son, Larita; step-daughter, Lolita. Carl leaves to mourn his son, other family members and a great friend Ms. Joyce that loved him dearly. Carl will never be forgotten and will live through his son. In Loving memory, We Love You.
