Carl Fletcher

Carl Fletcher beloved father, brother, and companion was born on April 8, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio to parents, James, and Lottie Fletcher.

Carl attended Cleveland Public Schools. He also earned a degree in political science. Carl worked for the City of Cleveland for many years. Carl was an avid reader and loved a good political debate. He was always willing to listen, share his wisdom, and his big bag of candy. His laugh was boisterous and contagious, some say he missed his calling as a comedian.

Carl would tell anyone that his greatest accomplishments were his five children, Marcus, Michael, Alexandria, Moses, and Lashon. Carl shared parenting with his partners, also loving their children as his own. Carl departed life on August 30, 2022 after a brief illness. In his passing he leaves to mourn his death Cynthia whom he spent his senior years with.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, James, and Lottie Fletcher; three sisters, Renee, Francis, and Doris; three grandchildren, Moses, Malee'ya, and Sydney.

Carl is survived by his children, Marcus (wife Trinya), Michael, Alexandria (husband Desi), Moses (wife Melody), and Lashon; two sisters, Pearl, and Gladys; three brothers, Donnie, Clarence, and Daniel; as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He will always be in our hearts.
