Calvin Kelly Brooks

Glenville Church of God 744 East 105th Street Cleveland, Ohio 44106 Born October 11, 1942 in Jackson, Tennessee, Calvin Brooks Jr. was born the only child to Liza Hayes and Calvin Brooks Sr. Soon after he was born they moved to Cleveland, Ohio. Later in life Calvin became a truck driver for Rutman Wine Company, where he eventually retired. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, children and grandchildren. He enjoyed life and loved helping people in their time of need. He will be truly missed and always remembered for his straight forward sense of humor. Calvin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Laura and Thomas Brooks; mother, Liza Hayes-Brooks; Uncle William Brooks and uncle Roy Brooks. He is survived by his father, Calvin Brooks Sr.; wife, Barbara; sons, Lionell (Michelle), Kelly (Allison), Kevin (Markita) and Clay; daughters, Wanda, Natalie and Tracy; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, his favorite uncle, John Brooks and a host of nieces, nephews other family and friends.
