Brent SINGLETON, 73, departed Thursday April 20th; He Leaves to mourn his loving wife Shirley; Public viewing 9AM to 7PM Wednesday April 26th; FUNERAL begins 12:30 pm Thursday April 27th at Watson's Funeral Home 10913 Superior Ave. Cleveland, OH 44106 Brent Marlowe Singleton was born January 21, 1944 to the late Charlene and Albert Singleton, raised by Norman Hilliard Sr. (Dad) in Cleveland, Ohio. He has three sisters, Aline (Howard), Iruos, and Barbara (James); three brothers, Norman, Johnnie (deceased) and Allen; one aunt, Tonia (Jimmy); three sisters-in-law, Sheilah, Sherri and Shirlene. In 1965 he wed the love of his life, Shirley Louise Brown, his first love since 1949. Brent attended Columbia Elementary, Empire Junior High and Glenville High where he graduated. He was employed by Fazio's as a meat cutter, and The George Worthington Company. Brent was drafted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam, after his tour of duty he returned home and gained employment with the United States Postal Service. He played baseball in semi pro league with Mr. Porter, loved shooting pool, going to the Browns games with his buddies and playing bid whist and loved his "brewsky" (Miller Lite). He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, sisters, brothers and aunt, a host of nieces and nephews, and cousins by the dozens and many friends
