Brandon Lee Smith

Brandon Lee Smith "B Doe" was born on July 28, 1980, in Cleveland, Ohio to Yvonne Smith and Lee Davis. Brandon grew up in Cleveland, graduating from St. Joseph High School, June 1998, where he played baseball. He devoted himself to Christ on December 2, 2001, at Everlasting Baptist Church. He attended the University of Cincinnati where he joined the United States Army, January 2003. His rank was Private First Class (PFC). He was deployed to Germany and Kosovo. He received an honorable discharge in December of 2007.

Brandon was employed at Cuyahoga County Correctional Facility as a correctional officer/SRT. He continued his studies at Cuyahoga community college where he earned his associate degree in arts. He also received an honorable bachelor's degree in social work at Cleveland State University.

Brandon was united in marriage for 7 years to Christa Smith. Within that union, he became a proud father to Christopher and Leah Smith. He spent time with his children traveling, attending their games, and being the best dad in the world. When he wasn't spending time with his children or studying, he spent a great deal of time in "Smitty's Garage" working on cars especially his Suburban. He also enjoyed baseball, fishing, golf, basketball, and most of all riding his Harley. Brandon is better known as "B Doe" to his friends and "Brother" to his sister was a kind-hearted person who would do anything for anyone.

Brandon departed this life on September 16, 2021, unexpectedly. He was preceded in death by his grandfather's Percy Smith and Lee Davis Sr and his brother, Lee Davis III. He leaves to cherish his memories: his two children, Christopher Smith, and Leah Smith; his mother, Yvonne Smith; father, Lee Davis Jr. (Marcia); Grandmothers, Carrie Smith, and Ruby Davis; sister, Briana Buckhalter; Brothers, Russell Boles and Rob Watson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, many friends, and extended family.
