Bobby Jones

Bobby Jones was born in Anderson, South Carolina on October 24, 1945 to Bill and Iris (Earl) Jones.

The family relocated to Cleveland when Bobby was a young child. He attended John Adams high school. On June 27, 1970, he married Delores Patterson together they have four children, Bobby Jr, Shavonda, Robin and Melanie.

Bobby worked various factory jobs as an adult and retired from Unity Rubber. Although he was a man of few words, he was known for his sense of humor.

He was a father figure to many and welcomed those around with open arms, whether by offering them something to eat or a listening ear. He loved listening to music, dancing, and fishing in his spare time. He Bobby departed this earth on December 24, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Iris, brothers Walter, Fred and Willie and sisters Jackie and Lela.

Bobby leaves behind his loving wife Delores Jones, children Daaiyah Muhammad, Bobby Jones Jr (Sonia), Shavonda Jones (Terance), Robin Jones and Melanie Harris, sisters Shirley, Betty, and Ruby, Grandchildren Charles, Rasheeda, Cahra, Sierra, Carter and Terra, mother-in-law Lurlean Patterson, brother in laws Albert, Ronnie and Terry, sister in laws Shirley and Jacqueline along with a host of nieces and nephews.
