Benjamin Lukerson

Benjamin "Ben" Lukerson was born August 30, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio to Willie James and Rose Lukerson. He was the fifth of six siblings. His parents, favorite "Aunt Gerri", brothers Sydney, Willie Ray, Ronnie and Alphonso preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing brother, Charles (Wanda), son, Demetrius (Miesha), grandchildren Monique, Demetrius Jr, Josette, Demi and great grandchildren Rashaad and Gianni and a host of relatives and friends.

Ben attended Cleveland Public Schools, Charles H. Lake and Miles Standish elementary, Empire Junior High and Glenville High Schools. He attended and graduated with his Associate of Arts degree from Cuyahoga Community College. He worked for the Ford Motor Company.

Benjamin lived in the Glenville community his entire childhood and would make his way back to the community no matter where life placed him. Ben was known throughout the Glenville community for having the kindest spirit and heart. As a teenager, he followed the Wilson family to Cleveland Christ of Christ and gave his life to the Lord. He knew where to go and who to call when he needed prayer.

During his last several years, he enjoyed life with his son and his son's family. Ben knew without a shadow of a doubt he was loved. On Friday, November 5, 2021 Ben received his wings and will no longer suffer with health issues.
