Audrey J. Lewis

On March 31, 2018 Audrey J Lewis passed away in her Cleveland home with family by her side at the age of 71. On November 19, 1946 Audrey was born in Cleveland Ohio to Willie Mae Dozier. She graduated from Glenville High School and was married soon after to Curtis Lewis Sr. Audrey then moved to Chicago where she began to raise her two sons Curtis Jr and Sheldon. She returned to Cleveland where she started work in retail, she retired from Home Depot where she amassed friends of all ages. Audrey loved crossword puzzles, kung fu movies on Saturday mornings, St. Mark Baptist Church on Sundays where she was a very active member for 18 years and most of all enjoying her family and friends. Audrey is survived by her children Curtis and Sheldon, her longtime friend Edward Davis Jr, four grandchildren, sisters Pam and Earline and many, many extended family members, nieces and nephews including Renata Edwards who assisted her at her time of need. She was preceded by her brother Donald and her sisters Jerilyn, Pearline, and Eva. Visitation will be Friday April 6, at Watsons Funeral Home at 10913 Superior Avenue in Cleveland Ohio. Funeral services will be held at St. Mark Baptist Church at 11123 Buckeye Rd with repass to follow.
