Arriel B. Johnson

August 22, 2003 — May 8, 2013

ARRIEL B. JOHNSON, 9; was born on August 22nd, 2003 in Cleveland, Ohio at Metro Health Medical Center to the parents of Lisa Kelley (Sam) and Arthur Johnson. She was the twin of Arthur Johnson IV. Arriel had so many days that she laughed and played with her toys. Everyone that knows Arriel knows that she sleeps most of the day and stays up all night watching television. In the morning when we all get up its sleep time for Arriel and she would sleep for eight hours, stretch and get ready for her night of kicking it. Whenever she got her hair combed she would sit there patiently and soon as you finished she would scream to the top of her lungs and be mad for hours. She had times when she would get sick and have to be hospitalized sometimes for months at a time but still came out fighting. She attended Franklin D. Roosevelt and was cared for by three remarkable women that treated her as if she was their own daughter .Mrs. Dennard, Mrs. Hunter, and Mrs. Sanders. One day I went to the school to visit and found out that they had even changed her name to "Tuni".They held her when she was sick, and rocked her to sleep and did everything that a mom would do. I never had to worry one day when I put her school bus that she would not be carried for. Arriel loved the three of you so much and so do I. I sit and think about the stories that you have shared with me and I am grateful for everything. Arthur loved his twin sister and would look after her all the time. If he was cold he would put a blanket on him and her too. If she was sick he would hold her hand and watch TV with her. Arthur would start her feeding pump when it stopped. I really didn't understand how close twins were until I saw the love that they both shared. When his tooth fell out her tooth fell out... At Christmas he would write a letter for Santa for her because she couldn't, so he would ask for things she might like. Arriel departed this life on May 8, 2013 and left people who truly loved her. All the pain she has endured is gone away and she has joined Mrs. Mathews who I know will watch over her until I see her again... Arriel leaves to cherish her memories parents Lisa Kelley, and Arthur B Johnson, Her brothers, Andres Kelley, Mikhail Kelley, Caleb Kelley, sister, Helen Johnson Grandparents, Joann Kelley and Helen Johnson, Aunts, and Uncles, nieces, nephews, a host of cousins here in Cleveland and her cousins Kent Oliver and Damien Moore from Alabama and a host of other family and friends......Finally.............Her twin brother Arthur B Johnson IV A special Thank You to Larry Stanley for all you have done for Arriel and Pooter. SERVICES ARE ON SATURDAY, MAY 18; WAKE 10 AM, FUNERAL 10:30 AM AT WATSON'S FUNERAL HOME, 109813 SUPERIOR AVENUE. INTERMENT IN RIVERSIDE CEMETERY.
