MR. ARLESTER DEAN was born September 17, 1921 in Tate County, Mississippi to the late Jerry Dean Sr. and Hannah Gale Dean. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Independence Baptist Church in Tyro, Mississippi. Arlester was united in marriage to Beulah B. Cole on January 16, 1941, they later moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1944. There were no children born to this union. They lived a joyous and happy life together until her passing in 1989. He retired from Forrest City Foundry after thirty-five years. Arlester enjoyed sports especially baseball, one of his favorite pastimes was playing cards and he loved being around people and good conversation. Arlester Dean passed away at his home in Cleveland, Ohio on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the age of 93. He had one sister, Irene House (LB) and one brother, Jerry Dean Jr. who preceded him in death. Leaving to cherish Memories of him are his sister, Evelyn Jeffers (Virgil); brother, Russell H. Dean (Karen) of Chicago, IL.; sister-in-law, Frankie L. Dean of Cleveland, Ohio and sister, Velma Dean of Beachwood, Ohio; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and a number of close friends. Also a special person, Mrs. Annie Louise Holly, who was there for him throughout the years. The family would like to express their gratitude of thanks and prayers to her, for the love and care she gave to Arlester. SERVICES ARE ON FRIDAY, APRIL 10, 2015; WAKE 12:30 PM, FUNERAL: 1:00 PM at Watson's Funeral Home, 10913 Superior Avenue. Interment in Cleveland Memorial Gardens.
