Anthony Foster was born on May 19, 1959, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Geraldine Toney and Floyd Hall. He was the middle child of three siblings, older brother Cedric Foster (preceded him in death), and sister, Patricia Toney. Anthony was educated in the East Cleveland school system and graduated from Shaw High. He accepted Christ at an early age, with membership at Love Divine Baptist Church, Cleveland, Ohio during younger years, and later membership at Davis Temple, East Cleveland, Ohio. After years of friendship, he married Dorothy Dingwall Owens on July 7, 1998. Birthdays, cookouts, cards, friends over to watch a game - you felt at home. Though no children, Anthony dedicated himself to nephews and nieces, and children in his community. He enjoyed sitting on the front porch talking with passersby and neighboring kids about education, sports, life lessons, silly jokes, having fun laughing. Pleasant personality and hard worker, dedicating himself to Marc's grocery for more than 25 years. Cleveland sports fan with a special love for the Browns. His greatest pastime was fishing and knew all the good spots. Enjoyed hosting an annual fish-fry, where everybody got full, for real. His memory will be cherished by a sister, Patricia Toney; two nephews, Gerald and Joshua; two nieces, Ashley and Briana, other great-nieces and nephews, two uncles, one aunt, and many friends. Rest, and enjoy the best, out of this world, fishing spots!
