Anthony Cox was born November 13, 1948, to the late Jack, and Thelma Cox in Cleveland, Ohio. Anthony was the 3rd Child of Four Children.
Anthony grew up in the Kinsman area of Cleveland. He attended Moses Cleveland and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School. He went on to become a chef, and Anthony had one Daughter, Tara Hayes.
As an adult, later on in life, Anthony worked for Bon Appetit, which was part of Case Western Reserve, and he worked there over 16 years. Anthony enjoyed chatting with the students, and having a good laugh with his co-workers. Anthony won an award for his chili, and his famous fall off the bone ribs. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and watching old western shows, cooking shows and home improvement shows. Anthony's favorite was "The Wiz" which loved to watch with granddaughter Tylar.
Immediate family who preceded him in death was father jack cox, mother Thelma cox and oldest brother Stanley Cox and youngest brother Stevie Cox. Long time Love Joann Hayes.
Anthony was called home on Friday, August 28, 2020, and he answered the call.
Anthony leaves a truly loving family including; daughter Tara hayes; and three grandchildren, Marlon Jr, Deaira,and Tylar. A sister Brenda Cox, and a niece, Romona Cox-Jones. As well as a host of extened family and many dear friends.
