Annette Marie Shack was born on June 18, 1964, to Lewis and Barbara Jean Shack. She was called home to heaven on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 1:50 pm, listening to "

"by Kirk Franklin. Preceding her in death were her father, Grandparents, Love of her life James Lewis and uncles Andrew, Rodney, Bernard, Jerry, and niece, LaTesha Marie. She attended the Cleveland Public Schools graduating from West Tech High School in 1982. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior during her illness 2021, Hallelujah!
Annette met and shared her love, love of life with James Lewis beginning in high school where they attended prom. James and his mother loved "Nitt/Nett" unconditionally. James transitioned in 2015, and his mother following shortly thereafter. No children were born but every niece, nephew and child that encountered her became her child. In-laws, cousins, and other friends loved her dearly. Those who knew her said "Nitt/Nett was Cool"
Annette began a lengthy employment at Mt. Sinai Hospital before their closing, which after she became a Tradesman specializing in interior and exterior painting. Those who were fortunate to utilize her craft was pleased and she became a household name by word of mouth, never being without employment. Many probably are walking around their homes smiling and reminiscing due to the painted rooms in their home and for how beautiful their homes are on the outside, because of her. She was an expert painter.
She loved her "Pittsburg Steelers" win or lose! Enjoying basketball and baseball both on and off the television. She enjoyed amusement parks a lover of riding every daring ride, attending family and friends' cookouts. She loved George Clinton never missing a concert. Annette celebrated her birthdays beginning on June 1st, until June 30th every year and this year was no exception as God deemed so; she was so full of joy on her last birthday which included family, friends, staff, and a surprise release of the Pittsburg Steelers balloons! The next day she shared she had not slept that great since being unwell, she was so happy.
Annette was surrounded by Family as she beautifully transitioned into heaven at CCF Hillcrest July 22, 2021. Thank You Lord for allowing the family to witness such an auspicious occasion. Annette leaves to mourn and cherish her memories her Mother Barbara and siblings including Andrea Boldware (Dale, deceased), Michael, Sharon Hougue (Robert Sr.), Regina Harper (Darrick), Lori Malone (David), Lewis, and Vincent; Uncles Steven, Larry; Nephews and Nieces, Dale, David, Wesley, Terry, Remeka, Tiara, Sierra, Ashley, Robert Jr., David Jr.; Great nephews (4), great-nieces (11), cousins and friends.
